About
Champaign-Urbana has long been a hub for technology as well as agriculture. In the past decade, those two paths have converged, paving the way for the community to become an epicenter for AgTech.
Champaign-Urbana AgTech Week celebrates Champaign-Urbana’s robust AgTech ecosystem, including the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Parkland College, corporate innovation partners, startups, state-of-the-art facilities, student organizations, local ag companies, the iFAB Tech Hub, and more.
And while Champaign-Urbana AgTech Week is one week dedicated to showcasing why Champaign-Urbana is an epicenter for AgTech, this is really about highlighting what we do with our partners all year long.
(Plus we have farms. Lots and lots of farms. In case you didn’t know, Illinois is the #1 soybean-producing state in the country - and the #2 corn-producing state.)
We’re continuously working to advance our AgTech ecosystem, and we invite to you join us.
Champaign-Urbana AgTech Week is presented by Champaign County Economic Development Corporation and University of Illinois Research Park.
